The logs in the walls of the Tiima-talot houses are always made of genuine solid wood. This is available centre cut, a method that effectively prevents the cracking of the logs.

Whether it is an "ordinary log wall" or a "double-log wall", you can be assured that all joints, including edge joints, are made to strict measurements to keep the warmth inside and the cold outside.

The double-log structure is made of two log walls, and the space between them can be filled, for example, with wood fibre insulation. The walls can also be made of solid log or a frame structure. In both cases, the wall structure breathes and is energy-friendly.

As a natural breathing material, solid log also effectively stabilizes the humidity level of indoor air and guarantees pleasant living, even without mechanical ventilation.

The wall-structure of a Tiima-talot house does not need to be complemented with major extra insulation in the base floor or the attic floor – the thermal insulation is sufficient from the outset.

When you choose double log walls the data and other cabling can be inconspicuously concealed within the ducting - cabling for a central vacuum cleaning for example. A Tiima-talot house is a well-thought-out design in all respects!

A Tiima-talot house will keep all sized feet warm.
